RateSync is a web-based mortgage comparison tool for Australian residents, operated by Alpine Code (ABN 83 774 179 276). By accessing and using RateSync (“the Tool”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tool.
RateSync is an information tool, not a financial adviser. The comparisons, calculations, and results provided are for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, a recommendation, or an offer of any mortgage product.
The information has been prepared without taking into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs. Before making any decisions about your mortgage, you should seek independent advice from a licensed financial adviser who can assess your individual circumstances.
Alpine Code does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). The Tool is not a financial product or service under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The information provided on this site is general in nature and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice.
RateSync currently receives no commissions, referral fees, or payments from any bank or lender. Product rankings are determined entirely by data and the inputs you provide. Listing a product does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement.
If our revenue model changes in the future (for example, through paid features or referral arrangements), we will update this section and clearly disclose how it may affect product display or rankings.
Product data displayed on RateSync is sourced from the Consumer Data Right (CDR) public APIs, which are maintained by Australian Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions (banks) as required by law.
We do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or currency of any output. Data is sourced from third parties and may not reflect current rates or product availability.
No reliance: You should not rely solely on the information provided by this Tool when making financial decisions. Always verify rates, fees, and terms directly with the relevant lender before acting. Alpine Code accepts no responsibility for decisions made on the basis of information displayed by the Tool.
Without sign-in, your financial details are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to our servers except when you run a comparison. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

All content on RateSync — including text, code, design, logos, and the comparison engine — is owned by or licensed to Alpine Code and protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the Tool for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the site or its underlying code without our prior written consent.
Some features may be available only to paid subscribers. Pricing and refund policies will be displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party providers whose own terms also apply.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Core free features (including mortgage comparison) will remain free.
The Tool may display third-party advertisements in the future. Alpine Code does not control advertisement content and display of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement.
Advertisements on this site are general in nature and are not personal financial advice.
RateSync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any bank or financial institution. Product rankings are determined solely by data and your inputs.
RateSync may contain links to third-party websites, including bank and lender product pages. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Linking to a third-party site does not constitute an endorsement.
RateSync is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or similar state and territory legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Alpine Code and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, and including loss of profit or anticipated savings) arising from your use of the Tool, reliance on its data, or any decision made based on the information provided.
This includes, but is not limited to, losses from inaccurate data, calculation errors, service interruptions, or changes in bank products after the data was last refreshed.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or equivalent state and territory consumer protection legislation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alpine Code, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Tool, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your presentation of Tool outputs as personal financial advice to third parties.
We aim to keep RateSync available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Tool at any time without notice.
Alpine Code may suspend or terminate your access if it reasonably believes you have breached these Terms, including the acceptable use provisions.
The Tool is designed for Australian adults comparing mortgage products. By using the Tool, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
Complaints should be directed to support@ratesync.com.au. We will acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
Privacy-related complaints are addressed in our Privacy Policy, which includes escalation rights to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent changes. Continued use of the Tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Alpine Code may assign these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
These Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and any disclaimers displayed on the Tool constitute the entire agreement between you and Alpine Code regarding your use of RateSync.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Before commencing legal proceedings, the parties must attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting support@ratesync.com.au and allowing 30 days for good-faith resolution.
